RURRENABAQUE PAMPAS AND JUNGLE

Rurrenabaque or ‘Rurre’ as it is affectionately known amongst locals and travellers is best described as a ‘Jungle Hub’. It is from here you will head out into the Jungle/Pampas in search of Anaconda, Caiman, piranhas, Capybaras, (the worlds largest rodent), monkeys, and a huge variety of birds.
You will travel by boat to the one of the ‘basic’ lodges where you will sleep and eat for the rest of the tour. From here you will enjoy treks into the surrounding jungle during the day and night in search of wildlife. This is a truly amazing tour that will keep you buzzing for days, and one you will remember for life!

RURRENABAQUE / PAMPAS
TOUR 3 DAYS / 2 NIGHTS

DAY 1
Departure is from Rurrenabaque by 4x4 to Santa Rosa. Lunch.
In the afternoon we take a boat down the Yacuma River until you arrive at your campsite.
On the way you will see plenty of birds, Monkeys and possibly Capybaras. Once you have settled into your accommodation you will take a night tour near the campsite in search of Caiman and Alligators and other nocturnal wildlife. Return to the campsite for dinner.

DAY 2
After the breakfast you will take the boat out on the Yacuma River in search of pink river dolphins. You will also get the chance to swim with them. Later you will fish for Piranhas. Return to campsite for lunch and dinner.

DAY 3
In the morning, after the breakfast you will walk into the Pampas to look for Anaconda. Lunch. Return to Rurrenabaque by 4x4.

RURRENABAQUE PAMPAS AND JUNGLE
TOUR 6 DAYS / 5 NIGHTS

DAY 1
Departure from Rurrenabaque to the Jungle by boat down the Tuichi River. Arrival at the campsite. Lunch. After lunch you will get an introduction to the Jungle. Dinner. You will then experience a Night walk in search of nocturnal life in the forest.

DAY 2
Breakfast. A more exploratory look at the flora and fauna. Spend the rest of the day learning life saving survival techniques from local guide. Return to Rurrenabaque.

DAY 3
Departure is from Rurrenabaque by 4x4 to Santa Rosa. Lunch.
In the afternoon you will be taken a boat down the Yacuma River until you arrive to your campsite.

Return flight to La Paz.
